You Can Begin Again December 8, 2000. It was the day that our daughter Kaiya went home to be with our Lord. She was stillborn. Although our faith provides comfort in that we know we'll see her in Heaven, we still miss her greatly. Our site offers support to the mothers, fathers, and anyone else who has been touched through the loss of a child due to stillbirth, miscarriage, pregnancy loss, SIDS, or infant death. After Kaiya's passing, it took some time but, we eventually accepted the fact that Kaiya's death did not mean the end of our life....although it felt like it at times. Life as we knew it would never be the same. As unfair as it was we had a decision to make. We could continously question the whole ordeal; ask God why is it that this happen to us. We could use the experience as a crutch to hobble through life. My wife and I did all of these things at one time or another until we finally reach the point where we could ask God for peace about the whole situation. We used the experience as a way to support and inspire. We didn't want Kaiya's death to become an excuse as to why we didn't pursue our dreams; as to why we didn't find our purpose in life. In time God gave us the strength to carry on. My wife and I created a special hand painted infant memorial stepping stone to place at her gravesite. It helped in the healing process and brought beauty and life to the resting place of our angel. From Heaven I know she looks down at her memorial and smiles. Using the same idea we made a beautiful memoral keepsake box for her cards and special mementos. We created an infant memorial scrapbook kit as well. Pregnancy loss and infant death is difficult. Our hope is that this site, along with our memorial keepsakes will help provide comfort and give hope to parents and love ones who, like us, have "Angel Babies In Heaven".
